The Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center in Waltham is seeking both typical children and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders ages 8 - 17 to participate in a study of how people communicate using their faces and voices. They are interested in finding out more about how children with ASD interpret emotion from facial expressions and tone of voice during daily conversations.
The completely non-invasive testing will involve watching images or videos on a computer screen and/or listening to people talking. All participants will receive compensation for their time and a small gift.
To learn more about this study or other studies at the Shriver Center, please contact Anna at 781-642-0276 or email facelab@umassmed.edu, and refer to Docket #H-13369.
