On Thursday, March 21st, from 9:15 - 10:45 am in the Weston Library Community Room, Dr. Bruce Rosow will explain the core components of the reading brain, using a model called The Simple View of Reading.
This model helps identify the different kinds of learning difficulty that impact reading development and, as a result, also indicates the most appropriate interventions to build reading proficiency.
Dr. Rosow is the Academic Dean at the Greenwood School, a boarding and day school for boys with learning challenges. Q&A will follow the presentation.
Please contact Deb Sullivan (sullyweston@comcast.net) or Ali Farquhar (alison@been-farquhar.com) with questions.
