Interventions for Students with Sexualized Behavior
Sexualized behavior in children and adolescents is very upsetting to parents and professionals, and sometimes results in students being removed involuntarily from the public schools. For most, pointing out that the behavior is inappropriate and needs to stop is the only correction required, but for some, the behavior will persist and require more specific interventions.
NESCA Director of Behavioral Services Jessica Minahan, M.Ed., BCBA will tackle myths about sexualized behavior, and teach practical and effective interventions.
Her talk will benefit both parents and professionals.
When: 7:00 – 9:00pm Tuesday, November 12, 2013
Where: NESCA, 55 Chapel Street Lower Lobby, Newton, MA
This talk is FREE and open to the public. Seating is limited. To reserve seats, please call Amanda Renzi at 617-658-9800, or email arenzi@nesca-newton.com.
