NESCA's Director of Transition Services Kelley Challen, Ed.M., CAS will provide an in depth look at why, when, and how to conduct transition assessments for students with special needs.
Presentation highlights include best practices of transition assessment, strategies for talking with your school district about transition assessment, examples of formal and informal transition assessment measures, and steps for making the critical link between transition assessment, postsecondary goals and appropriate measurable annual IEP goals.
