Speech and Language: Understanding Evaluations and the Impact of Complex Trauma

The Federation will be hosting a Webinar on June 24th entitled, "Speech and Language: Understanding Evaluations and the Impact of Complex Trauma."

Ann Waters, M.S., CCC-SLP, Sasha Yampolsky, Sc.D., CCC-SLP and Wendy Missouri, Ed,M., M.S., CCC-SLP of the Needham Speech-Language and Reading Clinic, LLC will discuss practical information about speech, language and reading evaluations -- when one is needed, what skills could be delayed, and what deficits may be interfering.

They will then examine how complex trauma impacts language and learning including social cognition, pragmatics, and working memory. Finally, a discussion will follow about services in school and in the community.
