From DDMA - Decoding Dyslexia Massachusetts
October 3, 2014
Is your child a struggling or reluctant reader?
If so, please join us on October 9, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the Marblehead Community Charter Public School, for a presentation called The Typical and Atypical Reading Brain, by Dr. Nadine Gaab, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital Boston/Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Gaab will discuss recent advances in the development of literacy, and its failure in developmental dyslexia, with emphasis on the brain. For parents who have struggling or reluctant readers or for those who just want to learn more about how the brain is wired to read, this will be a fascinating event.
When: 7:30pm Thursday, October 9, 2014
Where: Marblehead Community Charter Public School
17 Lime Street, Marblehead, MA 01945
