Free Talk Tuesday April 28th in Andover: Childhood and Adolescent Anxiety - A Parents' Guide to Survival

Dr. David Stember will discuss the developmentally normal anxieties that young children and young adults face, tools that parents can utilize to help empower their kids, and signs that suggest more significant difficulties. Dr. Stember will touch upon strategies that all parents can use, as well as approaches he utilizes to assist individuals who display more concerning symptoms (e.g., anxiety, learning and spectrum disorders).

This presentation is free and open to the public.

Speaker: Dr. Stember holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and holds faculty appointments at Harvard Medical School and McLean Hospital. He is a recognized expert in cognitive behavioral and exposure-based therapies for anxiety, learning, ADHD and behavioral disorders. Dr. Stembler is the prior Director of Behavioral Medicine at North Shore Children’s Hospital, and practices privately in Salem and Arlington, MA.
