Meet...Maximo! Courtesy of GoNoodle, the Only Suave Blue Monkey You Need to Know!

April 30, 2015

NESCA Prediatric Neuropsychologist Nancy Roosa verbatim:

"On a recent observation at LPS (Learning Prep School, in West Newton), I saw a speech therapist use this program with her kids as a motor break. She showed one of these videos, featuring Maximo: a blue monkey in a tux who leads kids in yoga poses and breathing.

I signed onto this web site (https://www.gonoodle.com/) which has Maximo and other fun programs, and used it for breaks with a hyperactive kiddo today. It was sort of hard to do the poses well, because we were giggling so much!

Anyone who’s working with little guys – I’d suggest checking it out! It’s free."
